Progression Run

A run where the pace gradually increases throughout the workout

What Does This Mean?

Progression runs start at an easy pace and gradually increase in speed, finishing at a faster pace than the start. They teach runners to pace themselves effectively, build mental toughness, and improve lactate threshold and aerobic capacity.
